For this dress, I created a false lacing panel up the center front, as the actual closure was hidden on the left side of the contrast panel. The fashion fabric of the bodice is flat-lined to cotton backed satin, with a layer of baby flannel in-between to create loft and prevent seams or bone channels shadowing through. Both skirt layers are flatlined to silk organza to create delicate hems.
