REGENCY ERA POKE BONNET

This bonnet is constructed from silk velvet as the outer fabric and ribbed taffeta to contrast, over a buckram base that I patterned and built to fit a 22" head. This hat features corded gathers along the outer brim, and a bias bound edge, along with contrasting ties along the edge. In the back, there is a soft cape over the back of the neck, with a contrasting cord. Constructed for Millinery class at Florida State University in April of 2023.
