SOMETHING ROTTEN:

MINSTREL

This garment is cut with alternating colors on all pieces, with both fabrics being of different weights requiring them to be flat-lined to different materials to ensure that they appeared the same weight in the finished garment. The multi-colored panel was fabricated by me by stitching rows of ribbon to a coutil base. The pumpkin breeches feature a foundation layer that sits close to the skin, and then a layer of soft fabric flatted to net to create the needed volume, with the panes nesting on top of everything.
